About Education/Experience

Meta-Beats began learning music in early childhood, studying piano, violin and guitar. He also participated in choirs and musical-theatre in high school. He holds bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Philosophy.

 

Meta-Beats is heavily influenced by the Los Angeles beat scene: he frequently attended Low-End Theory events where he developed a taste for innovative beat-making and sound-design. His passion for the scene turned into a life-long journey, pursuing the art of turntablism and beat-making to the furthest extent possible. 

 

Meta-Beats has over 6 years of experience training at the World Famous Beat Junkies Institute of Sound where he developed advanced Battle-DJ skills in scratching, creative mixing, beat-juggling, finger-drumming and tone play.

Recently, Meta-Beats was accepted into the Masters In Music Production, Technology and Innovation program at Berklee, Valencia (Spain). He plans to study and tackle projects at the intersection of music education, artificial intelligence, therapeutic music applications and accessibility for people of all functional levels.
